UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination for recruitment of medical candidates for filling up different services and posts in the government departments. The paper this year would be conducted on June 22, 2014. The interested candidates need to apply before April 21, 2014.

Interested candidates need to be clear the written and practical exams of MBBS although students who have yet to appear for the final MBBS examination can also apply. There is an age limit of 32 years on the student. This means that candidates appearing for the UPSC Combined Medical Services exam 2014 must have been born not earlier than January 02, 1982.

The selection process takes the candidate through a written and personality test of 500 Marks and 100 Marks respectively.

 UPSC Engineering Service Examination

A combined competitive examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of various engineering posts and services in different government departments for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The engineering graduates will be appearing for the paper this year will be commencing on June 20, 2014. The aspirant for the UPSC Engineering Service Examination must apply online through ORA Website on or before April 21, 2014.

The candidate needs to be have an engineering degree from a recognised institution in a the required discipline, B.E./B. Tech/or equivalent. Age limit of the appearing candidate is 21 to 30 years. This means that candidates appearing for the UPSC Engineering Service Examination 2014 must have been born not earlier than January 02, 1984 but not later than January 01, 1993.

The selection process consists two sections, Section I and Section II. Section I consisting only of objective types of questions and Section II of conventional papers. Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
