SSC Recruitment 2017 – Apply for 2221 Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector Posts

Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Government of India has released an employment notification at https://ssc.nic.in for CISF Examination 2017 for Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspector in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF. Examination will scheduled to be held on 30th June 2017 to 07th July 2017 (Paper-I) & 08th October 2017 (Paper-II)

Eligible candidates may apply online from 22nd April 2017 to 15th May 2017 till 5.00 pm

Scale of Pay

Sub-Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police – Leve-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs (Male) – Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs (Female) – Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)

Assistant sub Inspector in CISF – Level-5 (Rs.29200-92300/-)

Age Limit (As on 01st Jan. 2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit should be between 20 to 25 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules

SSC Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the Exam provisionally but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Govt. of India

Education Qualification

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university or Institute. Male candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must hold a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests

Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification as on 01-01-2017 will not be eligible and need not apply
 

SSC Recruitment 2017 Selection Process

Selection will be made through Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) in two phases, Physical Endurance Test, Medical Exam and Interview/personality test. Candidates should bring 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate in the presence of Invigilator at Written Exam

Computer Based Examination will be held on 30th June 2017 & 07th July 2017 (Paper-I) and 08th October 2017 (Paper-II)

Question s in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I &Paper-II. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions

The Commission may at the discretion fix qualifying marks in Paper-II

Application Fee

Application fee charges are Rs.100/- which should be pay through SBI Challan or SBI Net Banking or Credit Card/ Debit Card. No fee charges for SC/ST/ Ex-Serviceman and all category Women Candidates

Only one online application is allowed to be submitted by a candidate for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Exam 2017

Candidates meeting eligibility criteria may apply online or offline through Official SSC Online Portal www.ssconline.nic.in from 22nd April 2017 to 15th May 2017 till 05.00 pm
