SSC announces Recruitment 2017 for SI and ASI posts in Delhi Police, CAPF and CISF

The Staff Selection Commission has released a notification for recruitment of 2221 post of sub-inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant sub-inspector posts in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). SSC will recruit the candidates through an entrance test to be held in June and July 2017. Candidates can apply for the SSC recruitment for SI and ASI posts before the last date May 15, 2017.

There are 872 sub inspector vacancies in Delhi police and 786 vacancies in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). A total of 563 Assistant Sub inspector vacancies are available in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Candidate who are graduates in any discipline and between 20 to 25 years of age are eligible to apply for SSC Sub Inspector and Asst. Sub inspector recruitment 2017. The age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

Candidates will be selected through an entrance test to be held in two phases, Physical Endurance Test, Medical Exam and Interview/personality test.  Those who qualify the Paper-I will be required to appear in the physical endurance test and medical examination. Candidates who clear the Paper-I and physical endurance test / medical examination will be eligible to appear in Paper-II.

The SSC Recruitment 2017 Paper –I is scheduled to be conducted from June 30 to July 7, 2017 and Paper-II will be conducted on October 08, 2017.
