Eligibility Criteria for SSA Asst. teachers recruitment 2016
Age Limit
The minimum age limit of the candidates should be 18 years and the maximum should not be more than 43 years as on 01st January 2016. Age relaxation to the reserved category applicants will be applicable as per Govt. norms
Nationality: Indian
Educational Qualification:
For Lower Primary level (LP): Candidates must have passed 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes Or At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations,2002 (or);
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
For Upper Primary-Social Science UP (SS): Candidates must have passed Graduation from UGC recognized University with UPTET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes Or Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and;
1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University Or Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
For Upper Primary – Maths & Science UP (M &S): Candidates must have passed B.Sc. from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes Or B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and
1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University Or B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of Marks obtained by the candidates in TET/CTET, academic qualification, professional qualification and excellence at NCC (B or C certificate), State level sports, cultural activities
How to Apply for SSA Asst. Teachers Recruitment
Candidates are required to apply online through SSA website www.ssaassam.gov.in from 05th October 2016 to 25th October 2016. No offline application will be received
The online application and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified along with their original testimonials, in the respective Districts by the District Level Selection Committee
The District-wise detailed schedule of verification of documents will be notified in the Notice Board of the Office of the District Mission Co-ordinator (SSA) concerned. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the verification process
