Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has released a new employment notification for recruitment to 2200 Posts of Clerk, Clerk cum Data Entry Operator, Steno-Typist, Junior Scale Stenographer in various Departments of Punjab Govt

Clerk: Rs. 10300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.3200/-

Steno-Typist: Rs.10300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs. 3200/-
Junior Scale Stenographer: Rs. 10300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.3600/-
Eligibility for PSSSB Recruitment 2016
Education Qualification
Candidate must possess Graduate Degree from any recognized University/ Institution as per UGC guidelines. Candidates must have studied Punjabi upto Matriculation
Candidate must also possess one hundred and twenty hours course with experience in the use of Personal computer on Information Technology OR ‘O’ Level certificate in Computer Information Technology.
Age Limit (as on 01st Jan 2016)
Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and upper age limit is 37 years for General Category, 42 years for Scheduled Caste & OBC categories and 45 years for Govt Employees
Selection Process for PSSSB Recruitment 2016
Selection for Clerk/ Clerk cum Data Entry Operator post will be made through Typing Test in Punjab where applicants have to type 300 words at speed of 30 words per minute in ‘Assess or Joy Font’
For selection of Steno-Typist & Junior Scale Stenographer, A merit list will be prepared based on Stenography Test
Application Fee
Application fee charges are Rs.600/- for General Category, Rs.150/- for SC/BC, Rs.100/- for Ex-servicemen and Rs.300 for PWD candidates. Application fee may be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India

Eligible candidates may apply online through website of PSSSB www.punjabsssb.gov.in from 07th September 2016 to 27th September 2016 till 05.00 pm
Candidates have to upload scanned images of all required documents, passport size photograph and signature with application form.
