Prasar Bharati India Public Service Broadcaster, External Services Division All India Radio has published notification regarding the Prasar Bharati Vacancy 2016 about 38 vacant positions for Language Intern & Web Assistant vacancies on a fixed term-montly contract basis.

For Language Intern: Rs. 20,000/- pm consolidated
For Web Assistant: Rs.750/- per day
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 21 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates as per Govt rule
Educational Qualification
For Language Intern: Candidates should possess Graduate in any discipline from a recognised Institution/University with Knowledge of language for which applied preferably having a Certificate or Diploma and Ability to type in the language on computer for which applied with good speed and fluency (Minimum 30 wpm), besides this should be able to undertake small translations if required from English to the language and Ability and proficiency to use computer for sending/receiving emails, making ppt
For Web Assistant: Candidates should possess Graduate in any discipline from a recognised Institution/ University with Knowledge of language for which applied preferably having a Certificate or Diploma and Ability to type in the language on computer for which applied with good speed and fluency (Minimum 45 wpm), besides this should be able to undertake small translations if required from English to the language and Knowledge of Internet and computer MS word for that particular language for which the candidate is applying
Candidates will be selected based on selection committee of AIR through written / type test; the selection committee based on the combined ranking in written/type and interview will do short listing.
The selected candidates will have no claim or right whatsoever for extension of the contract or for regular appointment.
Languages: Urdu, Bangla, Dari, Pushtu, Tamil, Russian, Sinhala, Persian, Chinese, Swahili, Thai, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, French, Indonesian and Sindhi.
