Odisha Staff Selection Commission Recruitment Notification 2018. OSSSC is inviting applications for the positions of Sub-Inspectors. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions

Post and Vacancies

• 1.Sub-Inspector – 184
• 2.Sub-Inspector(ARMED) – 20
• 3.Station Officer (Fire Service) – 10
• 4.Assistant Jailor – 04
• Job Location: Odisha

Salary Pay

• Rs.9300-34,800 + Grade Pay – Rs.4200/-

Starting Date of Online Application: 30th January 2018

Last Date of Online Application: 28th February 2018
 

Educational Qualification

• Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University; for the post of Station Officer, a candidate a must be a Science or Engineering Graduate from a recognised University or Institution
• PwD candidates are not eligible to apply for the post
• Women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police and Assistant Jailor

Age Limit

• Candidates applying for the post must have within 21 to 25 years of age as on 01st July 2017 with usual relaxation of upper age limit in case of SC/ST/SEBC and Women candidates
• Ex-Serviceman candidates are eligible for age relaxation to the extent of years of service rendered in Defence Forces Of Govt. of India
• In-service candidates applying for the post must be within the age criteria and qualification prescribed for the post i.e. 25 years

Selection Process

• Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Preliminary Examination, Physical Test, Main Written Examination and Viva-Voice, and Psychological Test

Application Fee

• General/UR/SEBC candidates have to pay Rs.100 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. Only SC/ST candidates don’t have to pay any fee

• Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through OSSC website www.ossc.gov.in from 30th January to 28th February 2018
• The applicants other than the category of SC/ST are required to deposit exam fee of Rs.100/- either through online or offline mode using the Treasury Portal or by the conventional mode in the Head of Account detailed in the advertisement.
