Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) has published notification for the recruitment of 7048 Trade Apprentice vacancies of 55th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India

Eligibility

Age Limit

Candidate’s age limit should be between 14 to 22 years as on 07th February 2017. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and other relaxation details refer the notification

Educational Qualification

For Non-ITI Category: Applicants should have Passed “Madhyamik” (Class: 10th standard or equivalent) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of mathematics & Science

For ITI Category: Candidates should have passed ITI/trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT (SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Labour &Employment/Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with duration as per the Apprentice Act, 1961) and should possess the qualification of the closing date of application

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination followed by Physical Standard Test, Medical Examination conducted by Ordnance Factory Board (OFB)

Eligible candidates can apply online application only through the official website of the OFB, www.ofb.gov.in between 17th January 2017 to 07th February 2017

Fill the application form as per Guidelines given in the official notification. After successful submission, take a printout of application form. Candidate must apply ‘online’ ONLY directly through the website www.ofb.gov.in
