Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), Kohima has issued employment notification No. NPSC-1/2016 to filling up 72 vacancies for various disciples. Eligible candidates may download prescribed format application form at official website www.npsc.co.in and submit to the authorities on or before last date 14th July 2016

Scale of Pay
Item No. 1-3: P.B. -3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + AGP Rs.6000/-
Item No. 4-14: P.B. -3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + GP Rs.5400/-
Item No. 15-29: P.B. -2 Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + GP Rs.4600/-
Age limit: Applicants should have minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years as on 01st January 2016. Age relaxation to the reserved category candidates will be applicable as per govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree from a recognizsed University in the relevant subject with at least by 55% marks (50% for ST/SC) with qualify National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/SLET/SET for Assistant Professor Posts, Master’s Degree in Botany or zoology or Chemistry or Mathematics or Physics with BE.d. or Masters Degree in English or Political Science with BE.d for Lecturer Posts, Post Graduate 2nd Class Degree from a recognized University on specific Subject with minimum 50% marks with BE.d for Post Graduate Teacher(PGT) Posts

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination followed by interview conducted by Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), Kohima.
Application Fee: Rs.300/- for All Category candidates; the application fee should be deposited through demand draft drawn in favour of “Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima”, payable at Kohima.

Application Form (including Pattern of Examination, Syllabus and self-certification) can be downloaded from the Commission’s Website at www.npsc.co.in and send the duly filled up Application Form by registered post along with Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima, payable at Kohima, being fees for Exam.
Syllabus for Linguistic shall be made available shortly
Candidates applying for the post of Functional English, Item No.5 will opt for Functional English as their elective subject.
Incomplete Application in any respect (Including unsigned/forged signature) and or applications received after the closing date shall be summarily rejected.
