IRDA Recruitment 2016 for 24 Junior Officer Vacancies
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) releases Junior Officers Recruitment 2016 Notification. IRDA invites applications for the recruitment of Junior Officer Vacancies through open competition on All India basis for its various offices. Aspirants can apply online from 18th January to 04th February 2016.

Pay Scale
Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 17,100/- per month in the scale of Rs.17100–1000 (11)–28,100–EB-1000 (4)–32,100-1100 (1)-33,200 (17 years) and other allowances, like DA, HRA, City Compensatory Allowance, GA, etc., as admissible from time to time
At present, initial monthly gross emoluments for Junior Officer is approximately Rs 74,351/-
Age Limit
Candidates age limit should be minimum is 21 years and maximum is 35 years. Age shall be reckoned as on 01st January 2016 i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02nd January 1981 and later than 31st December 1994 (both days inclusive)
Age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates i.e., For SC/ST candidates 05 years and for OBC candidates 03 years and PWD candidates 10 years
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should possess any of the following qualifications at the minimum
For Actuarial: Candidates should possess first class Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years), and Pass in Nine papers of Institute of Actuaries
For Accounting: Candidates should possess first class Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and ACA/AICWA/ACS
For Legal: Candidates should possess first class Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years), and LLB with 60% marks or; 5 year Integrated LLB course in 1st class with 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years
For General: Candidates should possess first class Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years)
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in two phase Written Exam (On-line Preliminary & Descriptive Exam) and interview in IRDA Recruitment of Junior Officers
The qualifying candidates in the Written Exam will be called for Interview to be held as the final round of selection
The selection of the candidates will be based on cut off marks., if the candidates scores more than the cut off marks then they will be eligible for the next process and then they would be consider for the other selection process, and then candidates will then be able to get the post for which they had applied
Application Fee
Fee Rs.500/- for Other than SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen thorugh using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
