ICICI issues Notification for Recruitment of Probationary Officers

India’s second largest bank ICICI has announced the details of its recruitment drive for Probationary Officer (PO) for the 2015-16 session.

ICICI has been conducting the annual Probationary Officer Training Program regularly since 2007. Those selected for the program are given extensive training in the banking domain as well as a degree by the Manipal University. Upon successful completion of training, they are recruited by ICICI as employees.

The online registration process for the 2015-16 batch will close on June 30, 2015. The entrance test will be conducted in either July or August, 2015. Group Discussions and Personal Interviews will be conducted almost a month later (in August or September, 2015).

To be eligible, Only those who are below 25 years as on June 30, 2015 can apply. The minimum educational qualification is a graduation with an aggregate of 55 per cent marks.

The selection process will include four stages: an online aptitude test; psychometric assessment (online); group discussion; and personal interview.

Candidates will be regularly updated about the important details of the selection process through SMS and emails.

Applications can be filled up and submitted using the official ICICI career website.

Successful candidates will have to attend the training program scheduled in the months of November 2015 and February 2016. All training sessions will be held at the ICICI Manipal academy. The total expenses association with the program is approximately INR 3.37 lakh. However, for selected candidates, the course fee will be made available as loan by the bank itself.

After joining the bank as assistant manager, the candidates will have to repay the loan at a monthly EMI of INR 6,000.
