Employees State Insurance Corporation ESIC Himachal Pradesh invites applications for 45 vacancies of Stenographer, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) position.

The notification for ESIC Himachal Pradesh Recruitment 2015 for UDC MTS Stenographer has been announced.

  1. Stenographer: 03 Posts
  2. Upper Division Clerk (UDC): 30 Posts
  3. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 12 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification:

Stenographer: The candidates applying for this post must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. He/she must also possess a speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases is a must

Upper Division Clerk: The candidates applying for this post must have a degree of a recognised university or equivalent. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases is a must

Multi Tasking Staff: The candidates applying for this post must have passed matriculation level exams or equivalent

Age limit

Stenographer: The age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 27 years and must be minimum 18 years (as on 06th January 2016)

Upper Division Clerk: The age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 27 years and must be minimum 18 years (as on 06th January 2016)

Multi Tasking Staff: The age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 25 years and must be minimum 18 years (as on 06th January 2016)

Age Relaxation

Upper age limit is relaxable for ESIC Employees, Govt. Servants & persons belonging to reserved categories:

(a) 03 years for OBC

(b) 05 years for SC/ST

(c) 10 years for PwD (additional 05 years in case of SC/ST & 03 years in case of OBC)

(d) Ex.SM-Length of Service in Armed forces plus 3 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per ex tant Govt. of India instructions)

(e) ESI Employees/Govt. Servants with 3-yrs regular service: up to 40 years plus relaxation in age under their respective category/categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD)

(f) Relaxation in age to other categories as per instructions of Govt. of India issued from time to time

Selection Method

The aspirants will be selected by written test and interview process. Shortlisted candidates will be called for appointment to the corresponding vacancies

Pay Scale

For Stenographer: The selected candidates will be getting a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 5200/- to Rs 20,200/- with grade pay of Rs 2400/-

For Upper Division Clerk: The selected candidates will be getting a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 5200/- to Rs 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2400/-

For Multi Tasking Staff: The selected candidates will be getting a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 5200/- to Rs 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 1800/-

Application Fee

  1. For SC/ST/PWD/ ESIC Employees, Female Candidates & Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation: Fee Amount Nil and
  2. For all other categories – Rs.300/-

Mode of Payment

The candidates should make the payment of fee by generation of Challan through online application; fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. To pay the Amount, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after filling application and uploading scanned photograph and signature

Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India and then continue remaining part of online filling of application. The fee is to be paid only through State Bank of India
