Engagement of 10,000 Social Business Executives (SBEs)/700 District Level Coordinators (DLCs)
Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI) have been authorised to act as a Facilitator to one of the National Aggregators for enrolling subscribers under the Swavalamban
Pension scheme for unorganized sector: A co-contributory pension scheme for citizens in the unorganized sector as announced in the budget 2010-11 by Hon’ble Union Finance Minister
CNRI intends to engage on retainership basis about 700 District Level Coordinators (DLCs) and 10,000 Social Business Executives (SBEs) from across the country for implementation of this scheme
The empanelled SBEs and DLCs will be deployed in their preferred Talukas/Blocks/Mandal and districts respectively
The retainership will be initially for a period of one year and will be extended on satisfactory performance
It is explicitly and absolutely made clear that this is not a job offer under CNRI but is only a service opportunity with reasonable remuneration as compensation for such service rendered
Duties and responsibilities of SBEs and of DLCs: SBEs are required to contact the persons interested in joining the National Pension Scheme, assist them in filling up the prescribed forms, verify their ID, address and age proof through approved supporting documents, collect and deposit the minimum amount of Rs 1000/- per annum in their account to be maintained by authorized aggregators/PFRDA, Govt of India and arrange to andover subsequently the PRAN cards (Permanent Retirement Account Number) to the applicants issued by NSDl/PFRDA, Govt of India through the PRAN card holders under the control and supervision of CNRI
DLCs are required to exercise supervision and control over the functioning of te SBEs and ensure that the fixed targets of enrollment of Pension Account holders are reached and operational problems are sorted out in the smooth implementation of the scheme
CNRI: National Secretariat will exercise overall control and regulate the working of the SBEs and DLCs with the help of respective State Level Co-ordinators (SLCs) whose particulars will be intimated to the SBEs/DLCs separately
Eligibility criteria
SBEs: 10+2 from any recognized board with minimum IT skills, active interest in field work and willingness to serve people and age not more than 35 years as on 31st March, 2012
DLCs: Graduate degree holders in any discipline or its equivalent from any university with good IT skills, preferably some social sector experience and age not more than 45 years as on 31st March, 2012
Selection process
SBEs/DLCs: After screening of the applications candidates will be short listed for both these positions with respect to each district preferred by the candidates
The shortlisted candidates will be empanelled and intimated accordingly by offering them positions on retainership basis, on terms and conditions that will be spelt out in their offer letters
Remuneration
SBEs/DLCs: Remuneration for SBEs and DLCs will be commensurate with the number of Pension Accounts opened every month and payment will be out of the remuneration charges received by CNRI from the designated Aggregators as authorized by PFRDA
How to apply (SBEs/DLCs): For the purpose of processing of the applications, obtained crossed demand draft (non-refundable) for Rs 100/- for the position of SBEs and demand draft non refundable for Rs 200/- for the position of DLCs drawn in favor of Confederation of NGOs of Rural India payable at Delhi from any bank
Applications will be submitted on plan paper for the position of SBEs/DLCs which should be clearly mentioned on the envelope

Application received with demand draft for the prescribed amount will not be entertained
The applications written in capital letters should contain the following particulars; position applied for; name of the candidate with photo; father’s name; full and correct address for correspondence; mobile/Tel number/e-mail; educational qualifications and experience; bank demand draft details; signature of the candidate
Important dates
Last date for receiving the applications with demand draft for SBE/DLCs: 29th February, 2012
Processing of applications and intimation to the eligible candidates by 15th March, 2012
