Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Foreman (Chemical) – Trainee: Diploma in Engineering in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology with minimum 55% marks.
• Foreman (Electrical) – Trainee: Diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with minimum 55% marks.
• Operator (Fire): Bachelor Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 50% marks or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
• Operator (Chemical) – Trainee: 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 06 months Fireman’s Training course. Driving License for heavy vehicle / Fire Tenders; Proficiency in operating the pump / other fire fighting equipment
• Technician (Electrical) – Trainee: Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical / Wireman trade
• Technician (Mechanical) – Trainee: Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Machinist / Turner trade

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Candidates, willing to enroll themselves for Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Limited Vacancies, their maximum age should be 30 years as on 10th August 2018. For the post of Foreman, candidate’s maximum age should be 32 years
• Relaxation in upper age will be given to candidates with reserve category candidates as mentioned below:
• Grade S-5 [OBC – 35 years, SC – 37 years, ST – 37 years, PH-GEN – 42 years, PH-OBC – 45 years, PH-SC – 47 years, PH-ST – 47 years]
• Grade S-3 [OBC – 33 years, SC – 35 years, ST – 35 years, PH-GEN – 40 years, PH-OBC – 43 years, PH-SC – 45 years, PH-ST – 45 years]
• The upper age limit is also relaxable by 05 years for candidates domiciled in the state of J&K between 01st Jan. 1980 & 31st Dec. 1989
• Period of such service from their actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed by more than 03 years the maximum age limit prescribed for the posts/ services for which a candidate seeks appointment, he/she be deemed to satisfy the conditions regarding the age limit
• SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for a post marked Un-Reserved (UR) will not

Pay Scale

• Foreman (Chemical) Trainee: S -5 = Stipend: Rs.17000/-
• Foreman (Electrical) Trainee: S -5 = Stipend: 17000/-
• Operator (Chemical) Trainee: S -3 = Stipend: 14000/-
• Operator (Fire) Grade: S -3 = Stipend: 10,900/- – Rs.27000/-
• Technical (Electrical) Trainee: S -3 = Stipend: 14000/-
• Technical (Mechanical) Trainee: S -3 = Stipend: 14000/-

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates for BCPL 19 Non-Executive Jobs will be done on the basis of candidate’s performances in Written Test and/or Trade Test and/or Endurance Test and/or Proficiency Test as applicable
• The list of eligible candidates shortlisted for undergoing Written Test and/or Trade Test and/or Endurance Test and/or Proficiency Test will be made available at BCPL Website along with venue, date and time

Application Fee

• To apply for Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Limited Jobs, candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable application fees of Rs.50/- as application fee
• SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee

Payment Mode

• Payment can be made through Net-banking /Credit Card /Debit Card only. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The payment can be made by using debit card /credit card and Internet banking only through the payment gateway made available.

• Their registration will be provisional as their eligibility will be verified only at the time of interview. Mere issue of Admit Card/Interview Call Letter will not imply acceptance of candidature
• Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or even on joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria at any stage or if candidate fails to produce valid documentary proof in support of his/her eligibility
