Administrative Staff College of India, ASCI Hyderabad, announces ‘YOUNG MANAGERS Building Competencies for Future’ Programme for Young Managers for 2014 session scheduled to be conducted during 06th – 17th October 2014

Programme: Today’s business scenario is complex; an organization’s survival ability and progress capability is influenced by a host of internal and external factors that include competition, customer-focus, creativity, committed workforce, cost-effective strategies and compliance with the regulations

There is a clear need for organisations to develop capabilities to solve complex problems, test new ideas, adopt unconventional methodologies and implement innovative concepts

Objectives of the Program

The broad objectives of the programme are to:

Equip young managers with emerging management concepts and tools that help them enhance their business skills and practices

Provide cross-functional exposure and holistic perspective to managers in their formative years

Provide them with an opportunity to interact with their peers from diverse backgrounds, share inspiring experiences and exchange constructive views and ideas

Who Should Participate?

The programme has traditionally been attracting bright and ambitious young managers with high potential, who their organizations perceive as change agents raring to redefine the roles and infuse freshness into the operations of business

Thus, participants are typically young (from 25 years of age to maximum of 39 years), who are holding executive / management positions in manufacturing and service sectors

The programme is beneficial to and hence attracts large participation from both the public and private sector organizations

Organizational sponsorship is essential

Duration

The Programme duration is from Monday, 06th October 2014 to Friday, 17th October 2014

The participants are expected to arrive a day before the commencement and may leave on the evening of October 17th

Venue

The Programme is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in single air-conditioned rooms in the Bella Vista or the College Park Campus of the College at Hyderabad

The College does not provide accommodation for the family; transport between Airport / Railway Station and Campus will be arranged by the College; the Bella Vista Campus of the College is WiFi enabled in a comprehensive way

Programme Fee

Rs 85,000/- (US $3200 if foreign) plus Service Tax @12.36% per participant will be charged to cover tuition, board and lodging, courseware and other facilities of the College including internet usage

Participants not availing hostel accommodation will be given a discount of Rs 1000/- per day for the duration of the programme

An Early Bird discount of 5% on the basic fee will be offered to the nominations with payment received before 08th September 2014

An additional discount of 10% is offered to the second nominee and onwards from the same organization; it is clarified that the total discount for any participant would not exceed 15%

Last date for withdrawal: 29th September 2014 (Any withdrawals after this date will entail forfeiture of fee paid)
