Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Guwahati Refinery has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production, P&U, Mech & Instrumentation) vacancies for Experienced Non-Executive Personnel under various disciplines

Age Limit
Candidate’s age limit should be between 18-26 years for General and OBC candidates as on 31st March 2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. guidelines.
Educational Qualification & Experience
For Jr. Eng. Assistant – IV (Production): Candidates should possess 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for OBC candidates & 45% in case of ST candidates against reserved positions
Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (P & U): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate (with class as may be prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the state), provided that in case of non availability of sufficient number of candidates meeting the prescribed parameters, candidates possessing the following qualification may also be considered:
Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate (with class as may be prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the state)
B Sc. (PCM) with an Apprenticeship Training in Boiler Trade
3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for ST candidates against reserved positions
Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Mech.): Candidates should possess 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade with Pass Class
Jr. Eng. Assistant – IV (Instrumentation): Candidates should possess 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control from a recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with
Minimum one year of post qualification experience in Maintenance of Modern instrumentation control system like DCS, PLC with electronic field instrumentation, Control Valve, Smart Positioners, loop configuration, online Analyzers condition monitoring, cabling, eart hing etc., in a Petroleum Refinery /Petrochemicals/Heavy Chemical/ Fertilizers
Candidates will be selected based on applicant’s performance in written test & skill/ proficiency/ physical test
A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the written test to qualify for further consideration; the minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to ST categories considered against reserved positions
Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.iocrefrecruit.in from 08th April 2017 to 29th April 2017 and send their print out of the filled in on-line application form along with all supporting documents as mentioned in the check list attached to the application form including demand draft (if applicable) with name, address, post code & application no. written on the reverse of the DD by ordinary to post to Guwahati GPO, Post Box No. 21, Meghdoot Bhawan, Panbazar, Guwahati-781001 (Assam) on or before 08th May 2017.

Candidates should have to pay of Rs.150/- for General & OBC categories in the form of crossed Demand Draft in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd payable at State Bank of India , Guwahati Refinery Complex Branch (Branch code : 6196, IFSC Code : SBIN0006196). SC/ ST/ Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee
