National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has published a notification for the recruitment of Actuarial Apprentice vacancies on regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 10th April 2017

Name of the Post: Actuarial Apprentice
Job Location: Kolkata
Two encourage aspiring students who are keen to pursue actuarial studies to become Actuaries. Two year period of Apprenticeship offered to students who have passed at least 5 Actuarial papers from (A/IFoA) [Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries London)
Pay Scale
The NICL offers a pay scale to its employees according to the post they are recruited in. Basic pay scale in NICL Jobs is given below
Pay Scale – Rs. 25000/- for 1st Years, Rs. 30000/- for 2nd Years
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2017)
Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 21 to 27 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities 15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through NICL official Notification 2017 for more reference
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have minimum Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 60% marks either of the Degree Examination for General candidates, at least 55% marks for SC/ ST candidates & at least 5 Actuarial papers cleared from IAI/ IFoA (Institute of Actuaries of India/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries London)
Eligible candidates can send their application along with all relevant documents & envelope should be superscribed with “Application for the post of Actuarial Apprentice” on the left hand top corner of the envelope to The Chief Manager (Pers), National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), Head Office, 3 Middleton Street, Kolkata-700071 on or before 10th April 2017
Starting Date for Submission of Application: 04th March 2017
Last date for Submission of Company Trainee Application: 10th April 2017
All eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interview and their selection will be based on their performance in the Personal Interview. Final Selection of candidates will be subject to medical examination
Posting of selected candidates will be Head Office of National Insurance Co. Ltd. at Kolkata
