Directorate of Secondary Education (Madhyamik), Govt. of Assam invites applications from intending and eligible candidates (Permanent resident of Assam Only) for recruitment post of Graduate Teachers (Arts and Science), Hindi Teacher in the Graduate Scale of pay, Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/Arabic) in the graduate scale of pay for filling up total 38 Vacancies in the Govt. High and Higher Secondary Schools situated in the 11 numbers of Pain District of Assam State

Name of Post: Graduate Teacher, Graduate Hindi Teacher, Graduate Classical Teacher
Total No of Vacancies: 38 Posts
Graduate Teacher (Arts) = 06 Posts
Graduate Teacher (Science) = 09 Posts
Hindi Teacher in the graduate scale of pay: = 13 Posts
Sanskrit Teacher in the graduate scale of pay = 07 Posts
Arabic teacher in the graduate scale of pay = 03 Posts
Graduate Teacher (Arts): BA or B.Com with at least 50% of marks with B.Ed/B.T from any recognised University
Graduate Teacher (Science): B.Sc. with at least 50% of marks with B.Ed.
Hindi Teacher: Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having qualification from any recognised University or B.A with Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/B.Ed degree from any recognised University (Parangat to be treated as B.Ed. degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching)
Classical Teacher (Sanskrit): Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognised University or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% of marks and B.T/B.Ed. degree from any recognised University.
Classical Teacher (Arabic): MM with 50% marks with degree qualification from any recognised University or B.A with Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/B.E. degree from any recognised University
Other Qualification: In addition to such academic professional qualification for direct recruitment to the posts all candidates shall have to appear and pass in the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Govt. for Graduate/ Hindi-Sanskrit Teachers

Selection Process: After scrutiny of applications candidates will be called for verification of their testimonials and the Select List will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in (a) HS (Final) Examination, (b) BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc Examination, (c) B.T/ B.Ed. Examination and (d) TET
There will be no marks in viva except the following:
a) 10 marks for NCC Certificate (10 marks for “C” and 5 marks for “B” Certificate)
b) 10 marks for participation in recognised sports at National level representing Assam
c) 10 marks for achievements in Fine Arts and Cultural activities representing the State officially at National level
d) As per the Assam Secondary Education (Provincialised) Service Rules. 2003 as amended in 2012. 50 marks @ 25 marks for one year of teaching experience as contractual teacher, and another 25 marks, for two years, subject to consideration for a maximum period of two years will be awarded to the serving Contractual Teachers
The candidate should submit the application in duly filled Prescribed Form alongwith all testimonials to the undersigned on or before 30.09.2016. In service candidate should apply through proper channel alongwith NOC from their employer or else their candidature shall not be considered
The candidate must use the prescribed application form typed in legal size paper
