MTNL Recruitment 2016 for 66 Junior Telecom Officer Posts

The notification for MTNL Junior Telecom Officer Recruitment 2016 through GATE has been announced. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MNTL) has issued notification for the recruitment of 66 Junior Telecom Officer (Telecom, Civil and Electrical) vacancies on direct recruitment through GATE 2015 Score. Eligible candidates can apply online from 24th February to 21st March 2016

Name of the Post: Junior Telecom Officer

Total No. of Posts: 66

1. Junior Telecom Officer (Telecom): 59 Posts
2. Junior Telecom Officer (Electrical): 05 Posts
3. Junior Telecom Officer (Civil): 02 Posts

Pay & Emoluments:

Selected candidates will be entitled for stipend of Rs 17000/- per month during training period, and on successful completion of training they shall be placed in the pay scale of Rs 20600 – 46500 + DA + HRA /subsidized housing and other benefits

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 21st March 2016. Age relaxation is applicable upto 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PwD candidates as per rules

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should possess full time Degree in Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech/ equivalent Engineering Degree in relevant disciplines) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University or institutions

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on performance in GATE-2015 Score followed by interview conducted by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL)

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- for General/OBC category, Rs.500/- for SC/ST/ PWD category through online/ offline mode

Online Mode: Candidates can pay through online by using credit/ debit card/net banking. On successful payment, e-payment receipt will be generated

Offline Mode: Candidates can pay through Bank challan in any branch of Union Bank of India
