NER BPMC announces recruitment Sr Consultant posts 2014

North Eastern Region Biotechnology Programme Management Cell (NER-BPMC) has announced recruitment for the post of four Senior Consultants in the areas of Healthcare / Medical, Agriculture / Plant Biotech and Animal Sciences / Livestock

NER-BPMC has been set up by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, through Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) for development coordination and monitoring of biotechnology programme in the North Eastern States of India

Essential Qualification:

Candidates having master’s degree in these areas from a recognized University with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferably in implementing major research programmes in Biological Sciences including Biotechnology

Desirable: Candidates having Ph.D in the respective areas with experience in handling projects in North Eastern Region of India and recently superannuated would be preferred

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applying for the above posts is 66 years as on 31st July 2014

Emoluments: Rs 60,000/- PM and conveyance allowanced of Rs 3,000/- PM

Application Form: The above consultancy assignments are contractual, initially for a period of 6 months with a scope of further extension up to 3 years, depending on the performance review
