Age Limit
 
 
Candidates upper age limit is 35 years for post-01, 30 years for post-02, 03, 50 years for post-04. Age relaxation is applicable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ ST candidates (Refer official Notification for post wise Age details)

Eligibility

 
 
Assistant Soil Conservation Officer: Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Botany or Forestry or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognised University or Institute
 
 
Experience: three years’ experience in the field of soil and water conservation or rainfed or integrated farming and soil survey or problem soil reclamation and project formulation including Agro-forestry projects in Central or State Govt. dept. or Union territory Admin. or recognised research institution or councils or agricultural university or public sector undertaking or semi-Govt. or autonomous or statutory organisation
 
 
Scientific Officer (Chemical): Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Master’s Degree in Microbiology or Degree in Chemical Technology or degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
 
 
Experience:One year’s experience in an analytical or Chemical Testing Laboratory or one year’s Experience of Research & Development work or analysis of ores, Minerals,metals or Oil & Fuel and various Organic and Inorganic products or paint or polymer materials
 
 
Scientific Officer: Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institute
 
 
Experience:One year’s experience in Non – destructive testing Laboratory or one year’s experience in X-Ray Diffraction or investigation work on failure Engineering Material by Non-destructive and metallographic methods of testing
 
 
Nautical Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General (Technical): Candidates must have passed Certificate of Competency as Master or a Foreign Going Ship as recognized by the Government
 
 
Experience: Five years’ service as Deck officer, after obtaining the certificate of competency of second mate (Foreign Going), of which one year must have been in capacity of a Master on a Foreign going ship
 
 
Pay Scale

  1. Assistant Soil Conservation Officer:Rs.15600-39,100/- (PB-3) + Rs.5400/- (Grade Pay). General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
  2. Scientific Officer (Chemical):Level-8 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.47600-Rs.151100) + T.A. & H.R.A. as admissible. General Central Service – Group ‘B’ Gazetted– Non-Ministerial
  3. Scientific Officer (Non-Destructive):Level-8 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.47600-Rs.1,51,100) + T.A. & H.R.A. as admissible. General Central Service – Group ‘B’ Gazetted– Non-Ministerial
  4. Nautical Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General:Pre-revised Pay Scale PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.7600/- (Revised Pay Scale:Level-12, Cell No.1 as per 7th CPC). General Central Service, Group ‘A’,Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

 
 
Selection Process
 
 
Selection will be on the basis of Written Exam and Interview
 
 
(i) The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
 
 
(ii) In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at both stages i.e. ‘Recruitment Test’ as well as ‘Interview’. The minimum level of suitability in case of RT shall be decided by the Commission on case to case basis
 
 
Application Fee
 
 
Candidate have to pay Rs.25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH & Women candidates
