Eligibility Criteria

 
Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum will be 30 Years as on closing date (Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) & 10 years for PWDs)
 
Educational Qualifications

Graduate Apprentice – Full Time Degree in Engineering / Technology in related branch, from Institute/ University, recognized by AICTE

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice – Full Time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant branch, from Institute/ University, recognized by AICTE/ Board of Technical Education of State

Technician (ITI) Apprentice– Minimum 10th Pass and two years ITI course in relevant Branch /Trade or 10+2 level vocational course in relevant branch/ Trade
 
Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th) and ITI Course/ Diploma and Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology. There will be No Interviews
 
Reservation

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, and OBC will be as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its amendments thereafter
 
Application Fee

Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.100/- (SC/ST and PWD exempted) drawn in favour of SJVN Limited payable at Shimla. The candidates name and registration number written on the backside of Demand Draft
 

Application

1. a) For Graduate Apprentices & Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through the Career section on SJVN’s websitewww.sjvn.nic.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website, the candidates should possess the following:

1. a) Valid e-mail ID and mobile number, which should remain valid for atleast one year
2. b) Personal details and educational qualification details and a Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet banking detail via which the payment of application fee of Rs.100/- (SC/ST/PWD exempted) is to be made on online recruitment portal. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance

For ITI Apprentices Trainees

1. a) The eligible candidates desirous to be considered against this advertisement for the post of ITI Apprenticeship Trainees may apply through the NAPS portal of NCVT developed by Ministry of Skill development and Entrepreneurship. The detailed procedure for applying will be as under:
2. a) Logon toapprenticeship.gov.in ->> Apprentices ->> Apprenticeship Registration

Fill all the required details along with AADHAR/UID number without which the contract will not be registered. After registration apply on SJVN already registered on portal for relevant discipline

1. b) SJVN will call candidates for physical verification of documents after candidates have applied online through NAPS portal. The date for documents verification will be intimated at the later stage
