Punjab Health and Family Welfare announces recruitment for the post of 351 Medical Officers (Specialist) 2014.
Directorate of Health & Family welfare, Punjab has issued a notification for the recruitment of 351 Medical Officer Vacancies
Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 24th June 2014 and attend for interview on 28th June 2014 at 10.00 am

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-38 years as on 01st Jan 2014. Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ BC candidates, 10 years for PH candidates & for others will be applicable as per rules.
Candidates should possess MBBS Degree and holding a Post Graduation degree in requisite specialty, recognized by the Medical Council of India, Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600 – 39100 + 5400 G.P + NPA + Admissible PG Allowance
The selection will be based on the interview only
The total marks for interview will be 100 and its distribution is as under:
(i) Marks obtained in MBBS (15% of marks obtained in MBBS taking total marks in MBBS as 100): 15maximum marks
(ii) If the candidate passed MBBS final proof in 2nd attempt: 2 Marks will be deducted out of marks at (i) above
(iii) If the candidate passed MBBS final Prof in 3 attempts or more attempts: 4 Marks will be deducted out of marks at (i) above
(iv) MD/MS: 60 marks
(v) If the candidate passed MD/MS in 2nd attempt: 10 Marks will be deducted out of marks at (iv) above
(vi) If the candidate passed MD/MS in 3 or more attempts: 20 Marks will be deducted out of marks at (iv) above
(vii) If the candidate is Gold Medalist for merit/ Ist in University in concerned PG subject: 5 marks
(viii) Experience: 10 marks (One year = 1 mark & maximum 10 marks)
Publication (Publication should be database):
(a) if the candidate is first author – International publication (4 marks) – National Publication (2 marks)
(b) If the candidate is not 1st author – International Publication (2 marks) – National Publication (1 mark)
Eligible candidates may apply online through website https://www.pbhealth.gov.in/ and send their printout copies of scanned application form along with other relevant documents through Email at [email protected] on or before 24th June 2014 by 5.00 PM and attend for interview along with printout copies of application form, originals and attested copies of qualification certificates/ mark sheets, Experience certificate, age proof, caste certificate, two Passport Size Photographs on 28th June 2014 at 10.00 AM at Auditorium, State Institute of Health & Family Welfare Complex, Near Civil Hospital, Phase-VI, Ajitgarh, (Mohali)

2) Click on the “Apply Online” Link
3) Fill all the details carefully
4) Upload the scanned copies of relevant documents, photograph & signature
5) Submit the application form send the scanned printout copies of application along with scanned documents through email
6) Take the another printout copies of application with future use
Note: Candidates should download the following application format and bring with duly filled application along with the self attested photocopies of each document
