OPSC announces  Odisha Civil Service Preliminary Exam for OPSC recruitment 2016

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 145 different vacancies in various services by conducting Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2016.

Eligible candidates may apply online from 06th May to 06th June 2016 till 11:59 PM.

1. OFS-A (JB): 17 Posts
2. OAS-A (JB): 100 Posts
3. OFS-A (JB): 14 Posts
4. OPS-A (JB): 14 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be under 32 years and over 21 years (as on 01st January 2015 for Post 01, as on 01st January 2016 for Posts 02, 03 & 04); age relaxation is applicable 05 years for ST/ SC/ SEBC and women, 10 years for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree in any Disciple or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University or institutions (For Other eligibility criteria, details refer official notification).

 

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on performance in Preliminary Examination, Written (Main) Examination, Personality Test followed by interview conducted by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).

Interested candidates may apply online through the website www.opsc.gov.in from 06th May 2016 to 06th June 2016.

Candidates may also send their print out/ hard copy of application duly signed under the declaration form along with fee deposit challan, copies of relevant certificates and in an envelope should be superscribed as the “Application for the Post of Odisha Civil Services (Main) Exam 2016” by registered post/speed post to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K Parija Road, Buxi Bazar, Cuttack-753001

Application Fee: Rs.300/- for General and OBC category candidates; no fee for SC/ST & PWD category candidates and; the application fee should be pay through Online mode during filling Online Application Form.
