BPCL Management Trainee 2015 Application starts

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has invited applications for the post of Management Trainee 2015 Recruitment. BPCL is looking for Graduate Engineers in the field of Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation Engineering. Interested aspirants are required to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2015). See BPCL notification here

Candidate who have cleared full time degree of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) through AICTE/UGC approved Indian Universities/Institutes in first attempt are eligible to apply for the post. Candidates appearing in the final year of engineering studies can also apply.

Candidates pursuing Integrated Courses or courses with 5 year or more course duration would not be eligible for the post. However, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria in all respect w.r.t. educational qualifications, percentage of marks, age, etc. and if such candidates are short listed for interview, they will have to submit documentary proof of having passed the degree examination with the prescribed percentage of marks.

For candidates of General and OBC category minimum 60 per cent marks in qualifying examination is required and for SC/ST/PWD minimum 50 per cent marks in qualifying examination is required. Rounding off of percentage would not be allowed.

GATE 2015 online application submission started from September 01, 2014 and ended on October 01, 2014.

For applying to BPCL, candidates will require their GATE-2015 Registration Number; the registration number will appear on the GATE-2015 admit card which can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites of IISc and 7 IITs. Candidates must enter the same detail as they have entered while applying to GATE-2015.

January 30, 2015 is the last date for submitting the ONLINE application for BPCL.

Registered candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2015 Scores various disciplines. The shortlisted candidates with further appear for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Further Selection is based on Medical Fitness in Pre Employment Medical Examination.
