Army Public School Recruitment 2018 – Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) issued AWES APS Recruitment 2018-19 Notification for conducting AWES APS Teachers Selection Entrance Examination (CSB Exam) 2018-19 for the recruitment of 1000 PGT, TGT, PRT Posts for the academic year 2018-19 for 137 Army Public Schools (APS) located all over India functioning under Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)

Army Public School Recruitment 2018 Vacancy Details

The Army Welfare Education Society has 137 Army Public Schools (APS) located all over India functioning under its flagship. Over 1000 vacancies likely to occur in next academic session

A screening exam will be conducted for short-listing of candidates to fill up vacancies for academic year 201819

Total Vacancies – 1000 Posts

1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
3. Primary Teacher (PRT)

 

Eligibility – Army School Recruitment 2018

Educational Qualifications

Minimum 50% marks

1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Post Graduation & B.Ed.
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Graduation & B.Ed.
3. Primary Teacher (PRT) – Graduation & B.Ed. / D.Ed. (2yr)

CTET/ TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for appointment as TGTs/ PRTs. Others found fit in all other respects may be appointed on ‘Adhoc’ basis only till attainment of qualification. However, CTET/ TET is not mandatory for appearing in CSB online Screening exam

Age Limit

1. Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (In the case of Delhi schools TGT/ PRT should be < 29 years & PGT <36 years)
2. Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years (Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years)

Selection Process

Selection will be made through Screening Exam, Interview and Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency

An online screening exam will be conducted for short-listing of candidates to fill up vacancies for academic year 2018-19. Screening test is likely to be held between 15th -17th Jan 2018 (Tentative)
