TEACHING POSTS
PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER(PET) Total 87 Teachers
Eligibility – Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent.
SALARY: Rs. 9300-34800 PLUS GRADE PAY Rs.4600.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 35 YEARS (AS ON-30th Sep.2009.)
DRAWING TEACHER DT 367 Teachers
Eligibility – Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art OR
Four years’ Diploma in Fine Arts and Crafts from Viswa Bharati, Shanti Niketan. OR
Diploma in Fine Arts from Govt. of School of Arts and Crafts, Patna. OR
M.A. in Drawing and Painting from Agra University, Agra. OR
Equivalent recognized Degree OR
B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional Colleges of Education.
Desirable: Working Knowledge of Computer Application.
SALARY : Rs. 9300-34800 Plus Rs.4600 Grade Pay
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 35 YEARS (AS ON 30th Sep.2009).
NON TEACHING STAFF
EDUCATION OFFICER EO Total 07 Nos
SALARY : Rs 15600-39100 PLUS GRADE PAY RS.7600/-
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 50 Years (As on 30th Sept., 2009).
Eligibility and minimum Qualification
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
A. Academic:
i) Master’s Degree from recognized university with atleast 45% marks.
ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree
B. EXPERIENCE:
a) Persons holding analogous posts or posts of Principals with at least one year experience in the pay scale of Rs.10000-15200 (Pre-revised) OR
b). Vice-Principal/Asstt. Education Officers in the scale of Rs.7500-12000 (Pre-revised) with atleast 04 years’ service as such.
C. Desirable
Knowledge of Computer applications.
PRINCIPAL PR Total 60 NOs
SALARY : Rs. 15600-39100 PLUS GRADE PAY Rs.7600/-
LOWER AND UPPER AGE LIMIT: 35-50 YEARS (As on 30th Sep.2009).
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
A. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
i) Master’s Degree from recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
ii) B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree
B Experience:
(a) Persons holding analogous posts or
posts of Principals in the pay scale of Rs.10000-15200 (Pre-revised); OR
(b) Vice Principals/Assistant Education Officers in the pay scale of Rs.7500-12000 (Pre-revised) with one year’s service in the aforesaid grade; OR
(c ) Persons holding Group ‘B’ posts or the posts of PGTs or Lecturer in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 (Pre-revised) or equivalent with at least 8 years’ regular service in the aforesaid grade.
C. Desirable:
Knowledge of computer applications.

How to apply for KVS Recruitment 2009
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:
The completed Application Form must reach the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, P.O. Box No. 4624, Post Office Hauz Khas, New Delhi 110 016 on or before 30th Sep.2009.
Mode of payment of Examination Fee:-
For applying to the aforesaid posts, candidates are advised to remit Rs.1,000/- for Officers post and Rs.750/- for other posts through electronic transfer into Account No.405046333 with the Indian Bank, Mehrauli, Institutional Area, New Delhi – 110016 (Branch Code : 943).
For remittance of fee through electronic mode, candidates have to visit the nearest branch of the Indian Bank, alongwith prescribed Challan. The sample copy of the challan is appended alongwith this advertisement and can also be downloaded from KVS’s Website. The candidates have to fill in the Challan and deposit the same in the Bank along with requisite fee in any branch of Indian Bank. THE WOMEN CANDIDATES ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYING THE FEE.
One copy of Challan duly signed and stamped alongwith Deposit Journal Number should be collected from the bank for filling up necessary details in the application form. The Challan received from the Bank should also be attached with the application form in original.
In addition to fee, the Indian Bank will charge Rs.30/- as “Service charge” for transferring the fee through electronic mode i.e. the candidates should remit FEE+Rs.30/- (Rs.1030/- for Officers’ cadre and Rs.780/- for other posts).
