IDBI Bank Ltd., a banking company under the Companies Act, 1956, having majority share holding by Government of India, provides a complete range of retail and corporate banking services to its clients. The Bank has vacancies for officers in the area of Project Appraisal and Sourcing and Syndication in the Corporate Banking domain.
A. Sourcing & Syndication: The Bank is a key player in the segment offering a whole range of services. The Bank requires officers for this area in the following posts:
Assistant General Manager (AGM) – 7 posts
Age: Not more than 37 years.
Qualification: Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or CA/MBA/ICWA or B.E./B.Tech.
Experience: Atleast 5 years hands on experience as an officer with a financial institution, commercial bank, investment bank, merchant bank, insurance company or other financial intermediaries in any one or more of the following areas i.e. Rupee Dept Syndication, ECB Debt Syndication, Private Equity Placement, Bond Placement, Mergers & Acquisitions, Pre-bid Advisory Services, Business Advisory Services and other related areas. Good relationship/ networking with senior officials of industry and/or banking sector. Knowledge of financial modeling and structuring, loan documentation, regulatory aspects and negotiation of commercial terms would be preferred.
Manager – 6 posts
Age: Not more than 32 years.
Qualification: Same as stipulated for AGM above.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same area as sought for AGM.
B. Project Appraisal: The Bank is a leading player in project appraisal and financing. The Bank requires officers for this area in the following posts:
Assistant General Manager (AGM) – 6 posts
Age: Not more than 37 years.
Qualification: Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or CA/MBA/ICWA or B.E./B.Tech.
Experience: Atleast 5 years hands on experience as officer with a financial institution, commercial bank, investment bank, merchant bank, insurance company or other financial intermediaries in financial and techno-economic appraisal of projects in infrastructure and/or manufacturing sector. In-depth knowledge of at least one infrastructure and/or manufacturing sector with expertise in financial modeling. Experience in loan documentation, evaluation of project documents and negotiation of covenants would be preferred.
Manager – 6 posts
Age: Not more than 32 years.
Qualification: Same as stipulated for AGM – Project Appraisal above.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same area as sought for AGM.
C. Corporate Banking: The Bank is a major player in the Corporate Banking domain and requires experienced officers to staff its Large Corporate/Mid-Corporate/Infrastructure Corporate verticals.
Manager – 69 posts
Age: Not more than 32 years.
Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university. Additional qualifications like JAIIB/CAIIB/ CA/MBA (Finance/Marketing) would be preferred.
Experience: 3 years of experience as an officer in a Bank/FI in corporate finance in the areas of credit sourcing, appraisal, documentation and credit administration.
Note:
(i) The effective date for all the above posts for age, education qualification, experience, etc. is November 01, 2008.
(ii) (a) Reservations/Relaxations will be applicable/extended to SC, ST, OBC & PWD candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines. (b) Out of 13 posts for AGM, 1 vacancy is reserved for ST and 5 for OBC. For further details regarding reservations, please refer the detailed advertisement displayed on the Bank’s website.
(iii) The number of posts mentioned above are provisional and may vary depending on future requirements. The Bank reserves the right to draw a waitlist and consider waitlisted candidate(s) for future requirements. Offers could be issued in phases as per the Bank’s requirement.
(iv) The candidates would be allowed to appear for the selection process for only one post.
(v) Bank reserves the right to make an offer for a lower grade post even though the candidate/s fulfills the eligibility criteria for the higher grade post.
(vi) The Bank reserves the right to raise/modify the eligibility criteria in educational qualification (including percentage of marks secured at Graduation/Post Graduation level) and/or work experience, etc.
(vii) The Bank reserves the right to place the selected candidates in any of the functional areas of the Bank other than those advertised, if found suitable for the same.
