Method to apply ONLINE for State Bank of India  PO (4500) Recruitment 2010

Eligible candidates are required to apply only ‘ONLINE‘ through SBI Website statebankofindia.com or sbi.co.in and no other means/ mode of application will be acceptable. See Video

The candidates should have a valid email id before applying online. If the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/she should create a new valid email id before applying online.

Application for registration will be available on SBI’s website between 01.02.2010 and 02.03.2010.

Payment of fee and / or postal charges can be made between 01.02.2010 and 28.02.2010. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas.
Procedure for depositing fee:

The cash voucher for payment of fees and/or postal expenses will be made available on the Bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. This cash voucher will be in duplicate (Branch Copy & Candidate’s Copy). The application fee must be deposited only in any of State Bank of India branches using this cash voucher.
For the purpose of locating the Bank’s branch addresses for remitting fees, applicants may log on to our Bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com and www.sbi.co.in. Wherein provision is available for locating address of the branches.

SC/ST/PWD    Rs.50/- (Postal Charges)
General and Others     Rs.500.00/- (Application Fee & Postal Charges)

Before depositing the fee Candidates have to take a printout of the cash voucher from the website.

The following details must be filled up in both copies of the cash voucher:-
(i) Candidate’s name, (ii) Candidate’s category, (iii) Amount of Application Fee to be paid

After filling up the above details, both the copies of cash voucher are to be presented at the branch, along with the application fee.

On payment, the candidate’s copy of the cash voucher will be given back to the candidate by the concerned branch.

The candidate must ensure that the following details have been incorporated:

1. JOURNAL NUMBER (7-10 Digits).

2. SBI BRANCH NAME.

3. BRANCH CODE NO.

4. DATE OF DEPOSIT.

After deposit of fee/ and or postal charges please register your application : click “APPLY ON-LINE”

The above details are to be mentioned by the candidates at the appropriate place in the
on-line application format while submitting the same.

Candidates should keep a copy of the application print out and payment receipt (Deposit Journal No.) for their record.

The Application must not be sent to the recruitment cells at LHOs or CRPD/IBPS Mumbai. Printout of Application Form will not be available after 15/03/2010.

The original fee/and or postal charges payment receipt must be produced along with the call letter at the time of Written Examination. Candidates without the original payment receipt will not be allowed to participate in the Written Examination.

A print out of on-line application will have to be produced by the candidates at the time of Phase II i.e Group discussion And Interview

    I have registered for probationary officers examination which will be held on 7th march…..can I register for April exam which will be held on 11th april….Is it under the rules….or will they disqualify me?

    Yes you can Both are different exams. One is for State Bank of India and other is for SBI Associate Banks like State Bank of Hyderabad, SBP, SBM and others

    Sir,

    I would like to apply the probationary officers exam. what is the eligibility qualification. if any experience required. I a BCOM, MBA Graduate (MBA completed 2009 in Madras University by Correspandance)

    Eligibility criteria (as on 28/02/2010)

    Essential academic qualifications: General category and others category – 60% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 55% aggregate marks in Graduation. SC/ST/PWD category – 55% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 50% aggregate marks in Graduation. In case of candidates having professional qualification(s) of CA or CWA or CFA or CS (company secretary), where graduation is not compulsory, the General and others category candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or Diploma (55% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) and pass marks in above examination(s).

    Graduate Candidates who have not passed XIIth standard examination but have passed diploma course after Xth standard with 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/PWD) are eligible for the captioned recruitment, provided (a) Diploma course passed must be a minimum of two years duration full time course (diploma course through correspondence are not eligible) (b) Diploma course should be recognized/ approved by the state board of technical education of the concerned state /UT.     I am mba from raj. university with 60% but i am not qualifying graduate & sr, sec. % criteria ihave 48% in 12th & 52% in b.com.I have 2 years experience in nbfc as a credit executive . so plz tell me that can i apply for that on the base of mba % or not

    sir, I am working in INDIANAIRFORCE,I APPLIED FOR THE POST OF PO exam,which is sheduled to be held on 11.04.10.I was permitted to go on leave upto 15.04.10.Now, the date was changed,i can’t change my leave,So you please suggest me how can i change my exam center.
